I have to say that the engineer in studio room a is in it for the money there’s no passion in it , he doesn't give artist feedback or even care to record the songs , the mixing isn’t as good all the time and it can get lazy as I’m paying for an experience I can say I definitely didn’t experience anything there was a lack of verbal exchange unless it involved money , the engineer sat on his phone the whole time with barely any engagement or even seeming to be interested , it feels as if the engineer doesn’t want to be there

The vibe is everything. Every time I go to the compound another hit is being made. The staff is friendly & always attentive to what is going on. The equipment quality is out of this world. This place has to be the best studio I’ve been in within Baltimore. I recommend this studio to everyone tourists & natives. You will always walk out of here with a great product & satisfied.

When I need a last minute session, they're always available. Easy booking and great atmosphere. It was a little hard to find at first, but once you do find it the building is super secure. There are multiple rooms, which is good. Some are large enough to fly a mini kite haha. I highly recommend studio compound!

Was a frustrating experience. The studio on Capitol Hill definitely had some professional pictures taken because when I got there, it was dirty as hell. Looks like they just had a party in there, foot prints on the wall and everything.
I’m not one to judge, if I can record then OK, but I got there the mic was hanging by the cord in the booth that is horribly soundproofed btw.
Took the first 20 - 25 mins for the engineer to realize there was a delay on the recording & it still wasn’t sounding good.
Then I left abruptly, I paid for two hours only used one, I asked if I could be compensated or at least come back another time, they said no, the owner didn’t even reply to me.
I engineer sent me my session wrong, not how I asked him before I left, I tried to get the stems but never heard back.

This is a trap house studio, if you want real professional recording , service and environment, I wouldn’t recommend.

Literally beyond unprofessional. First of all it’s confusing as hell to find the building no signs. My sister booked a recording session yesterday and when she arrived no one was there. She called the number in the website and she was told the producer wouldn’t be there till 3:30... yet she was able to book a session for 12:30 and nobody called her saying he wouldn’t be there. Today we came back hoping it was just a one time thing considering the great reviews. Idk who left those reviews because ain’t no way. We walked in this time and there was a dance clinic happening? No one was there to greet us. We asked the ladies running the dance clinic where the studio was and we got pointed in the wrong direction and when we figured out where the room was NO ONE was inside. It smelled of marijuana and had marijuana all over everywhere. We called and no one answered. I finally get a call back and this man who doesn’t state his name says he’ll figure out what’s going on and get back to me... this was at 12:35pm and as of now 1:00pm and we have given up. Also there was no heat. We drove all the way from frederick TWICE and got the same treatment. Avoid this run down place at all cost there was barely even any equipment. I’m gonna assume the positive reviews are fake. Save you’re time and go elsewhere.

Booking with studio compound is an amazing experience ! You have the opportunity and freedom to reach your fullest creative potential. I’ve been booking with compound for the past 3 years and I’m proud to say that All of the staff are very respectful and I have always been handled with urgency and care . The engineers are very knowledgeable and are in tune with current sounds and plug in’s and operate at an efficient speed. Compound is a very Clean, flexible & spacious space that is open 24-7.
