San Marcos Mexican Restaurant is a casual, family-owned chain featuring Mexican fare such as burritos, quesadillas, tacos, etc.

We arrived for dinner shortly before 5:30, and we're greeted and seated immediately. We were given chips with cups of queso and salsa. Some of the chips were the largest I've ever seen.

I chose the Burrito Loco, featuring grilled chicken, beef, and shrimp. The burrito was topped with red sauce and smothered in cheese. Rice and refried beans also came with the dish.

The burrito was delicious, with a balanced portion of the main features. The meats were tender and the shrimp firm, making for a delightful meal.

The other plate selected was the Chicken Quesadilla –served with guacamole, sour cream, and Pico de Gallo – which also came with rice and beans.The dish included two uncut quesadillas, and was very tasty.

My only regret was not ordering horchata, which is my favorite Mexican drink. Perhaps it was the long day spent in OKC, but I can't believe I forgot about it. Perhaps next time.

San Marcos Mexican Restaurant is a pleasant and clean establishment, with bright yellow walls decorated with pictures of Mexico cityscapes and a large bullfighter. If you need your Mexican fix, this place will satisfy your needs.

Mexican food is not my first choice, but when I visit OKC San Marcos is where I always stop to eat. It's such a fun atmosphere, amazing food, I've never had to wait for a table, and the waitstaff is ALWAYS amazing!

We came in for cinco de mayo and was seated pretty quick! The atmosphere was great the service was nice no issues at all the server communicated well with us and was polite. The food was great no complaints we had a few drinks and tasty 😋 left me feeling a lil tipsy lol.. over all we had a good time and we will be back thank you and Happy cinco De Mayo 🇲🇽🌮🍻

First time here and it was fabulous! I’m originally from NM where the southwestern cuisine is impeccable. My meal and margaritas were exceptional! For an $8 margarita it was prime stuff. The food was delicious. I usually can tell a Mexican restaurant’s authenticity from just their salsas and yes it is up in the charts . My waiter Milton (ironic as Milton should be making landfall tomorrow in Florida) was gracious. I’m also just watching the entire staff on the floor and their service to everyone is impeccable. I hope management recognizes all the staff on 10/08/2024. If your staff isn’t dependable and welcoming may as well kiss your business adios. I’ll continue to visit yearly as that’s when I pass through Oklahoma

Love my visits to this location. I'm always lucky to get my same server. HE IS THE BEST. We're there somethings wrong with the food but he's so nice, professional, and accommodating he always makes me overlook the small things. I hate raw onions and this was one of the minor things i could overlook for example. Drinks are always a plus. This visit I didn't like my choices but it's just my liking. To each it's own. I was just trying something new. If you're ever in the area and don't want to waste a trip, stop here for a garuentee good visit

We came in here about an hour to close, our server was fantastic (we warned up front we knew what we wanted and wouldn't be here after closing, he assured us it was ok and they were happy to serve us) we ordered and had some chips and salsa while we waited for food. food come out quick and was hot and fresh. we even got some chips and salsa to go.. always a great snack in the hotel room. food was fantastic and filled us up completely.

Good food, friendly service and a nice atmosphere. The one time they had live music outside (See Pic). I always do the beef fajita myself. It's absolutely wonderful. They have some pretty cool and may I say BIG drinks too which I'm sure you will enjoy. 😉 Be sure to give this place a shot!
