Disappointing Experience - Not What I Expected

I had high expectations for this shop, given all the positive reviews, but unfortunately, my experience fell short. When I picked up my car, it was unwashed, which was surprising for a business that prides itself on quality. You would think they would want to present the car in its best condition, especially after repair work was done.

Additionally, the interior was dusty from the body shop work, which was not something I expected. The splash guards that are attached to the rear bumper, which had been repaired, were not properly secured. They able to quickly fix this using double-sided tape, but it shouldn't have been necessary.

When inspecting the trunk, I noticed that the carpet pieces were not properly positioned, and on one side of the trunk the fabric lining on the truck wall was out of place. Also, a plastic piece that should have been attached to the body was missing the fasteners needed to secure it.

At this point, the shop did offer to keep the car and fix these issues, but it would have required me to take additional time off work and arrange transportation. Given the inconvenience, I chose to address the issues myself.

Overall, this level of service is far below what I expected based on the glowing reviews. I'm left wondering how such a well-regarded shop could overlook these details.

Everyone was so nice & professional. I brought in my Explorer to have paint & a lot of body work done. Jorge was great & took care of everything with my insurance immediately. Jorge from S&S paint and body did an amazing job on my car! I came in with a dented bumper, and from the moment I called to confirm my appointment, he had already bought the needed pieces and had them painted beforehand. He was also very communicative and let me know every step of the process my car was at so I never wondered if my car was just sitting in the shop. I dropped my car off Monday and on Tuesday, my car was not only cleaned and shiny, but everything looked perfect! I had expected about a week’s worth of a wait so it was a pleasant surprise. Highly recommend Jorge if you go here. He will make sure your car gets fixed as fast as possible!

S&S fixed my 2023 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid after getting sideswiped. The car was damaged from bumper to bumper on the driver side. S&S took about 6 weeks to fix the car due to the holidays and it being a big job. They kept us updated weekly with photos and progress pics. They were open with communication and even worked an extra 1/2 day on NYE to get caught up and get our car back to us. The car was as good as new when we picked it up. We really appreciate the service and would definitely use the shop again, if we ever need to.
