The room was very clean, spacious and the bed comfy. The 3 lifts were quick to arrive - needed when this hotel has 7 floors. ||Only negative was that we asked to have our room "refreshed" (clean towels, bin emptied, coffee replaced) but this was not done. We reported this to reception and got clean towels (though reception showed us the housekeeping schedule with a note saying that the room had indeed been refreshed - which it had not so some miscommunication there).||PARKING HINT: we pre-booked St Enoch's Q park and got the parking at £11 per day - half price.

Myself & Daughter spent 3 nights here & we couldn’t have been happier. Clean, warm & peaceful. The location was perfect for all the beautiful Shops & the Cinema is close by. The Subway is less than a minute’s walk away. There’s a very handy Tesco express right outside & plenty of places to get a nice wee drink & food. We were in Glasgow to do our Christmas shopping and the lovely Christmas Market and Fair were our view for our time spent here. We will definitely be back.

Our recent stay at this Premier Inn was extremely disappointing, and unfortunately, it fell far below the standard we expected.

Firstly, our room had no toilet paper upon arrival. This is a basic necessity and reflects a serious lack of attention to detail in housekeeping. To make matters worse, our room was located directly above a hand dryer that went off every 30 seconds, making it nearly impossible to relax.

The breakfast experience was equally poor. We arrived at 8:10 AM, only to find the restaurant completely empty and no staff in sight. After locating a staff member, we were told breakfast wouldn’t be served until 8:30 AM. When we politely asked for a cup of tea while we waited, the response was an unnecessarily abrupt, “No, actually it won’t be okay.” This level of rudeness is unacceptable in any hospitality setting.

To add to the confusion, small, inconspicuous signs in the restaurant reception area indicated breakfast wouldn’t begin until 9:00 AM. These poorly placed signs were easy to miss, and the inconsistent messaging caused unnecessary frustration. As if to emphasize a lack of trust, after we left the restaurant to wait elsewhere, the staff locked the door behind us, treating us more like untrustworthy schoolchildren than paying guests.

When raising these issues with the reception staff, we were met with dismissiveness and defensiveness. Instead of engaging in a conversation or offering an apology, the receptionist merely pointed to another poorly placed sign to justify the confusion.

This experience was riddled with preventable failures in communication, customer service, and hospitality. We expected far better from Premier Inn and will think twice before booking again.

Awful hotel, with roadworks out front, so you can't get to the car park you have pre-paid. Never even got to speak to anyone who works at the hotel, and 2 of the book in stations were broken, so queues out of the door for 40 minutes. Room dirty with a bunch of ginger curly hairs just sat there in the middle of the floor. Can not have been hoovered. There is no way you would have missed them, made me feel sick. Breakfast was the best thing about this hotel, with vegetarian options cooked to order. Would not recommend this hotel to my worst enemy!

Brilliantly located for shopping drinking and for a walk down the river.
Staff are wonderful nothing is too much trouble! Breakfast is really good and well organised with loads of options. Room was clean and the bed was so cosy. There is a vending machine for when the bar is closed which is helpful.
Our third trip now and each time has been just as good. 👍

I suggest anything valuable/medications - take out with you as they may not be there when you come back to your room. My issue is that I got 3 items "stolen" from my room - 1 x lush bath bombe and 2 packets of medication! I reported the bath bombe to Reception who tried to say that the cleaner may have thought it was rubbish. It was not until I got back to the UK and unpacked that I realised my medication had also been taken. I called the hotel on Saturday and spoke to the House Keeping Manager who said he would look into this and come back to me on Monday, well a week later and still not response! I've also emailed Head Office and no response from them either!
