Our daughter has taken dance classes at Creation Station for over 5 years (3 y/o - 8.5 y/o) and our son for a little less than a year (2.5 y/o). Amy, David, and the teachers have been such a wonderful part of our lives. They are fun, know every family that walks in their door, and have your child's development in mind... not just selling you on added classes if it doesn't make sense for your child. They did a great job in adapting their dance studio to remote learning during Covid, and our kids still enjoy their dance classes from home each week. Now that school is about to be done, we are looking forward to taking a few added classes each week.

Owners of Creation Station need to explain their receptionist that his salary gets paid out of fees school collects. And when there is a customer with two kids, he probably shouldn’t be hostile and get confrontational. Yes, we were 5 min late. It’s a first class and I have two kids age 2,5, but we walked in with two other students, so I guess being late is not a big deal for them (but for some reason was a huge issue when it came to us) Then we were told to put ballet shoes. It took forever, I couldn’t find right size (all of them were big), I had to try a few, times two. So by the time we were ready some time passed. My daughter started crying for whatever reason. Gentlemen at the reception finally takes us to the class, and before he even closed a door behind us, he took us out, because according to him kids were not ready to take a class. I was told when I called earlier that we can come and try a class. What receptionist wanted us to do is to look through the window at what other kids are doing. So we look through the window, (by the way, it’s a very small dance room) and class looked good, kids were playing with balls and having fun. So my kids want to go. We are trying to walk in into a dance room, and receptionist wouldn’t let us, because he decided that kids still not ready, and my daughter starts crying again. At this point I get upset. (We’ve been following all the instructions, when the kids can try the class? )
What do I get? A speech that I was 10 min late and that I wouldn’t be able to find any other class. Please it’s a two-year-old’s class, where kids supposed to have fun, not a ballerina tryout! He kept saying we were 10 min late and he cannot allow us to disrupt other kids, I mentioned that wearing shoes took a while, other schools allow socks for the first class, his response was “I didn’t know you are ok with that”. Was it his first day at a job?
Bottom line, class looked fun, but customer serves sucked. Company just lost 3 fees, because I have an older son who was interested as well to take some classes, and we were waiting on twins’ schedule to pick his class. My fees alone would probably cover receptionist salary. Remember, I have friend as well, who will not join Creation Station. Bad, bad business practices over all.

We love Creation Station! We have three kids ages 11, 9 and 6. They have all taken dance at some point over at CS. They LOVE it. I also apprecaite how easy going David is and how fun and low key they make the performances. We are very happy!

Owner (husband) is not friendly and very pushy. Wife is friendly. Some of the instructors are not friendly. Impossible to make up same class have to make up with different types of classes. Auto debit continued even after cancellation until that debit card expired. Poorly run. There are other studios that charge a little more but are much better operated.
