An absolutely amazing studio! A relaxing and professional atmosphere with an incredibly talented and creative producer.

I recorded my debut album at Studio 1790, which has been a long time coming, and such a complex project.
Studio 1790 provided a both relaxing and professional environment, where I always felt I could take my time to get everything just the way I wanted it.
Gavin, being a great musician himself, is so much more than a producer. He listens, and will happily provide creative feedback on the recordings if needed.
He takes what you give on the recordings and elevate it to a level you couldn't have imagined yourself.

As a singer, and especially working with my own material, I often find it hard to let go completely and hence unfold my voice to everything it can be. At Studio 1790 I felt relaxed and comfortable enough to do so. It has made my album become everything I wanted it to be. And everything I never knew it had potential to become.

Gavin has considerable technical recording expertise. As an experienced performing musician, too, he has great insight into the challenges performers face in front of a microphone. With his well equipped studio, he is able to capture live performances faithfully and blend them into a well-balanced finished product. The recording experience is always enjoyable, focused and professional. For a polished audio production, Studio 1790 is very much worth a visit.

Phenomenal studio. Second time recording drum tracks with Gavin at Studio 1790.

Relaxed environment and Gavin is superb at helping draw out performances and providing valuable feedback to get the most out of your session.

Highly recommend to any musician or band looking to get professional high end recordings, without the eye watering price tag and average result. Just get booked in and you won’t regret it.

A big thanks to Gavin at STUDIO 1790 for another great recording session today with Dignity Row!! Excellent support and expertise to help refine the arrangements and textures used. I would strongly recommend STUDIO 1790 if you are planning to do any recording. It has been a great year for Dignity Row. We achieved a “Highly Recommended” status at the Danny Kyle Open Stage and I am sure Gavin’s work during the recordings was a major factor in getting the songs recognised!!
