I can’t sing enough praises for Christina at Alts in Williamsburg. I took my made-to-order wedding dress to her a little over week before my wedding (my weight had fluctuated a bit since taking my original measurements), and Christina was able to make all necessary adjustments in that tight timeframe.

She was incredibly attentive, listening to each concern and offering expert solutions. By the time I got my dress back from her, it was perfectly fitted to my body. I could tell her deeply cares about her craft, and she goes above and beyond to ensure you are satisfied with the final product.

Along with my finished dress, she provided a little gift as a congratulations, which was so lovely and thoughtful. I will definitely return as a customer, and I highly recommend her and Alts to anyone who needs alteration services! Thank you Christina for all your hard work!

I came to Alts for the first time to get an estimate to alter my wedding dress, met with Humberto. He gave an estimate and I thought it was a bit expensive at first (alts was the first place I went to for a consultation). After seeing a few other places I realized how amazing Humberto was and went back. Humberto did an amazing job with my dress looked stunning on me and fitted like a glove. Humberto knows what you want without even telling him what you want, he just sees it and fixes all the imperfections. My dress was a few sizes big on me and he fitted it to me perfectly. Humberto is the BEST! Well the place in general. You’re treated amazingly and they make you feel very welcomed. Brought in my wedding dress couple months ago and today was my last fitting/pickup since my wedding is in 7 days. The dress was huge on me and it was tailored so perfect fits amazing on me does not even look as if it was tailored thats how great of a job was done. I would recommend anyone to come here if you want the job done right!

It was such a dream working with Humberto to elevate my wedding dress and add the finishing touches. It’s such a stressful process to trust someone with something so important, but Humberto relieved all of my anxieties. He was patient, understanding and a master of his craft. Very grateful to have had him in my corner for this milestone ?One year later, I’m back again to have some tailoring done on a few pieces with Christina! Had my wedding dress altered here by Humberto and could not be happier with the results!
My dress was purchased at a sample sale and needed multiple adjustments on a fairly tight timeline - straps shortened, bodice taken in, and multiple layers of lace + a train hemmed - in less than 3 months. Humberto had an initial consultation with me to review the adjustments I wanted and was super upfront with pricing and timeline, so I knew exactly what to expect. I had multiple fitting appointments over about 10 weeks to get everything perfect - each appointment was on time and Humberto + the front desk staff were all super professional and SO kind.
I picked up my dress today for my wedding next weekend and it’s exactly what I wanted - I would highly recommend Humberto for any bridal alterations you need!!

Cristina at the Williamsburg Brooklyn location was truly a joy and the best tailor I could have asked for to fit me for my big day! Humberto exceeded expectations in tailoring my vintage wedding dress! Even with all its intricacies, he took it down a size, hemmed it (twice), moved the lace detail up, and used 13 buttons to build a custom bustle that draped beautifully to accentuate the details of the dress - I'd never seen anything like it.
