My experience with Aire Serv was PHENOMENAL from the beginning to the end. EVERYONE I encounter was courteous, professional, and knowledgeable of their area. The process was seamless from scheduling the initial service call, to the technician coming out giving an initial diagnosis of the issue and explaining possible options, to the sales representative fielding questions regarding repair and upgrade options, to keeping in touch with with the office and management staff walking me through the process, and last but certainly not least the 3 outstanding technicians who completed the install. The installing technicians respected me and my home and took pride in the work that they were completing.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, I REPEAT DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. This company will SCAM you. They will charge you an outrageous out of pocket expense even though the service they provided will be cover under your warranty.

My story (short version): I was told I had to pay and out of pocket expense of 342.40 because my warranty did not cover all of the fre-on I needed for my A/C unit.

Turns out my warranty DID cover the cost of ALL the fre-on.

When it was time to get my refund for the money I was charged, the manager told my warranty company representative that she could not issue me a refund because it would mess up there books.

So this company is basically double charging for their services. They get paid in FULL by the home warranty company. Then they LIE and tell you that everything is not covered so you will have to pay out of pocket.

I am sure I am not the ONLY-one this has happened too.

To the people who have used this company in the past, please call your home warranty company if you had to pay any kind of pocket expense. Most likely it was covered and they lied and stole money from you.

To the people who are considering using this company, DON’T. They are scammers.

This company was very professional and compassionate about our situation. They ordered parts and got the issue resolved without petty finger pointing at previous AC techs or other businesses. Aire Serv of Wake County has been servicing my original HVAC unit for a few years now. I receive 2X per year tune-up visits under the Advantage Plan for a small monthly fee. It's helped to diagnose & pre-empt any forseen weakness or failure before any untimely breakdown can occur. Chris was very knowledgeable, on time & customer oriented.
