They should know the requirement of care that their patients need from the very beginning! Sending home care that can not do the specific care needed, is completely pointless and a waste of time.
Even more so risking the patients health, especially when the care they need is on a very strict schedule. For example, Cathing and Bowel Programs.
Not impressed that my loved one was not able to do his scheduled bowel program, because the staff that was sent out to him did not know how to do the required treatment.
Completely unacceptable for a Home care provider.

After over a year of trying to get better home care from this company it's been unsuccessful. The aides aren't watched so 99% of them don't do their job properly and of course the company is going to believe the workers over the clients. The supervisors have even said "well that HCA has been with the company for quite awhile" as if stating there is no way they could do something wrong. This company is a joke. The HCAs are not even qualified or trained to give proper bed baths, assist clients with mobility without INJURING the client on numerous different occasions. Overall this company hires people who aren't qualified which makes it unsafe for the clients being "cared" for

They are very unreliable. The staff are wonderful, but it is not managed properly
After staff come, regardless of the hours, management will call to confirm that their staff indeed came. Apparently, they don’t trust the people they send into our homes
Use a GPS not your clients to do your work for you. We are not on your payroll

Horrible service. My elderly mother started getting home care visits multiple times a day from CBI starting less than a week ago. So far not a single day has gone by with them showing up when they are supposed to. This includes two complete no-shows with no call or notification. Even after follow-up calls with the home office, they still are missing appointments and sending people who claim they are unqualified to provide the services we have scheduled (ie. bathing, etc..). Completely unacceptable.

My husband needed homecare when he came out of hospital until his passing. I am pleased to report that we had excellent care from the caregivers. They do have a lot of clients each day but never let on that they were rushed. They took excellent care of my husband and were always friendly and upbeat. The only time they weren't punctual was on weekends when they have twice the clients. We understood. They did mention that their caseloads had decreased in the last year or so. That probably helps for them to be more prompt and helpful.

CBI management never talks to the clients and changes the care providers for no good reason but makes up excuses they hope to pass off as legitimate reasons. They want to punish good care providers for having built up good and trusted relationships with the clients. Let's face it folks this is all about the hard working staff becoming unionized with the hopes of having fair working conditions. I recommend that AHS do an independent review of CBI and not renew the contract. I am a retired RN!

Too big, too corporate. You are just "earnings before depreciation." For some reason this is the contractor AHS uses. They never showed up on time because they have too many clients and too few Care Workers. Sometimes, on the weekends they wouldn't show up at all - no phone call, no warning. One weekend a care worker even had the audacity to come to my door three hours late and expect to come in so that CBI could invoice for that visit. The Care Workers were friendly and considerate because that is who they are as people but they are constrained by the contract between AHS and CBI. My advice would be to avoid this company if at all possible - absolutely brutal. My advice would be to contact your AHS representative and ask about invoicing and once approved go with a smaller company.

If you care about your loved ones DONT USE THIS SERVICE. we have had 4 caseworkers now, first and the last one is great, other two could have care less. SEVEN missed home visit in last 2 year, we told they would not bath my mom they deemed it non essential, one care giver told my mom she had scabies, she cried for 2 days , she had dry skin. We have Monday to Friday visit in the last 2 week they have been showing up on Saturday morning buzzing us until we have no choice but to get up, we have not had weekend service in over a year. I'm going to find out if there billing for these unscheduled and unwanted visit. I could go on but pointless no one is held accountable there , and if you do complain it only gets worse for you. My current caseworkers and caregiver are amazing . I would not trust the administration at cbi to feed monkeys at a zoo.
