This was my fourth shoot with Misty, and I honestly don’t know how it keeps getting better every time — but it does! Every session has been an absolutely incredible experience. Empowering, liberating, and filled with so much joy. From the moment I walked in, I felt completely safe, seen, and celebrated. Despite the depth of emotion that arises from the experience, it’s also just SO much fun. It’s one of those “OMG, that’s me!?” moments.

I truly didn’t need anything more. Misty always creates a safe, empowering space that leaves you walking out feeling like a goddess. I can’t wait for shoot number five!

I can’t even begin to express how incredible my boudoir session with Misty Moss was!

So, let’s start from the beginning. I first heard about Misty and her work through the beautiful Rosie Bitts. They offer retreats together, and while I only knew a little at the time, I had already been to Misty’s space for another boudoir session with a different photographer. It wasn’t until the owner of Collective Heeling Dez, a session with her that I truly took notice. When I saw Dez’s breathtaking boudoir and dance photos, I had to know—who was behind the lens?

It was universal synchronicity. When I finally made the decision to invest in myself and take a step toward launching empowerment workshops through my own business, Emerald Day Spa (www.emeralddayspa.ca), Moss Photography was right there, waiting for me.

For over a year, I had toyed with the idea of getting updated photos, but I struggled to find an artist whose vision aligned with mine—until I saw Dez’s photos. And the rest is history.

Not only did I invest in myself, but I also started following Misty on Instagram, and let me tell you—her reels about self-love and acceptance have skyrocketed my self-worth. Being part of a community of strong, empowering women and experiencing Misty’s artistic magic firsthand has been transformational.

From the moment I walked into her space, the environment was warm, inviting, and cozy. Every detail felt intentional, and Misty’s enthusiasm for how well I performed only made the experience even more incredible. The entire process was a full day of love and magic.

It all began with stunning hair and makeup by Erin Bradley—who, in herself, is an incredible human being. Then, before we even started, Misty guided me through a self-love meditation to help me center myself. That moment of grounding set the tone for what became an unforgettable experience.

After the photo sessions, we took a break for lunch before coming back to go through the photos together—something I had never experienced before in a boudoir session or any photography session for that matter. It was just another layer of what makes Misty Moss Photography so exceptional.

The connection she has—with her camera, her business, the community, and with me—was absolutely next level. She made me feel safe, seen, and, most importantly, helped me fall in love with myself—something I’ve been working toward my whole life. And for the first time, I feel like I’m truly getting there.

Thank you, Misty, for your talent, your energy, and the way you uplift every person who steps in front of your camera. I cannot recommend her enough!
