Home Instead is a fabulous home care agency. I have been using them since this summer for in home care for my sister. When she was being discharged, they were able to get someone in the home the next day. The care is exceptional, compassionate and professional. We have worked with Companions, Home Health Aides and Nurses, all wonderful. Lori Myers was easy to work with and fantastic at meeting our needs. I cannot recommend them enough. I work in home care professionally for many years for a different agency. Home Instead does it right.

At the very least , everyone who cared for my mom was kind, caring and responsive to her needs. There were several who stood out and became part of our family. The day to day care allowed me to focus on just being there for my mom, focusing on her happiness and taking care of finances, etc.

We started working with Home Instead a few weeks ago to help keep my father safe and happy in his apartment until he is able to move to a higher level of care. Unlike other agencies that we called, they were able to come out and meet with us the day we called and started services within 48 hours.

The portal is super handy for sending messages and seeing the care notes from each shift.

The aides have been kind and caring. HHAs have a very challenging job - always having to head to a new setting and figure things out and connect with each client. They deserve our utmost respect and admiration for the work that they do.

She immediately put us at ease during a difficult time. The aids were friendly, compassionate, and professional. The family portal was so helpful to see who was coming and when. We also appreciated the ease of changing the schedule when needed. A simple call to the scheduler was all it took. I can't say enough good things about Home Instead. It was becoming more difficult for my social butterfly husband to get out of the house, and I did not want to leave him alone. He needed a companion to tell his stories to so we contacted Lifespan for a list of Home Support Services and chose 3 organizations. We immediately liked our visit from Home Instead, felt very comfortable choosing them. They were very flexible with the hours we requested. Each new companion came to the house with a staff member to introduce them. Ed wasn't happy with the first companion and that was not a problem. On a 3rd visit, my husband found a wonderful companion of Italian heritage and they clicked. She asked if she could come all the time and Ed was delighted. Billing was automatic and easy. Everyone I talked to on the phone was very nice. Sadly, Edward only had 3 weeks of visits when he went into the hospital. Postponing visits was a phone call. When he passed, everyone I talked with was very understanding. No issues canceling the service. I know we would still be loyal customers if things had turned out differently. I can't thank them enough and highly recommend them.
