I recently had the pleasure of dining at Retro Café LLC on a Wednesday, and I must say, the experience was made even more memorable by the incredibly friendly and attentive staff especially Devin, who truly went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect!

Food & Drink Ratings:

• Pho: 10/10 – Absolutely delicious, especially once you customize it to your liking!
• Shrimp Fried Rice: 6.5/10 – Could have used a bit more love and soy sauce, in my opinion, but still enjoyable.
• Veggie Egg Rolls: 10/10 – Pure perfection!
• Strawberry Smoothie: 4/10 – Lacked sweetness for my taste. I’d recommend adding condensed milk to boost the flavor.

Overall, it was a great visit, and Devin’s exceptional service made it even better!

Banh mi was really good quality, baguette was perfect, fresh ingredients. Guy working there was really friendly. Best Vietnamese place I've found in this area so far.

Owner was super nice staff wanted to make sure I had a great experience. The food is the best in town. Nothing beats the Eggrolls, THO, Ban Mi, And fried rice. They have Korean chicken wings or teriyaki chicken wings that are delicious. Try the retro specials.

This place is awesome. Relatively small menu, but they've mastered what they've got. The food is excellent. I haven't had anything I didn't like. And their coffee is superb. I don't know how they make it, but it's strong and delicious.

Friendly staff, fair prices, and of course, cool retro gaming theme with collectibles and gaming stuff around the store.

If I could make a suggestion to the owner, a TV and a Sega or Super Nintendo emulator for guests to play. I think it would tie the place together very well.

Retro Cafe is my absolute go-to spot! From the moment you walk in, the nostalgic decor and cozy atmosphere make you feel right at home. Whether it’s a quick coffee, a casual meal, or just a relaxing spot to unwind, Retro Cafe never disappoints.

The food is always fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. Their menu has a great variety, and there’s always something for everyone, from hearty classics to lighter, health-conscious options. The coffee and desserts are absolutely amazing—perfect for a mid-day treat or an evening indulgence.

What keeps me coming back, though, is the staff. They’re so welcoming and friendly, always going the extra mile to make sure you have a great experience. The service is fast and attentive without ever feeling rushed.

If you’re looking for a place with great food, good vibes, and a touch of nostalgia, Retro Cafe is the perfect spot. Highly recommend it for anyone looking for their new favorite hangout!

Food tasted good and service was immediate. They don’t have combo pho with tendon, tripe, etc, only “steak” and meatball, my only criticism. Their target audience seems to be younger people and those who don’t eat the weird stuff, like me. That’s my fault for not checking, but they were the closest to me and so highly rated I just drove over there to see. I recommend them, but I just prefer the old, dirty viet restaurants.

Today I dined at this restaurant, and while the food was great, the service left a lot to be desired. The pho was delicious, and the teriyaki wings were flavorful, but the customer service overshadowed the experience.

The cashier, in particular, was incredibly rude. My total was $23 and some change, and I handed her $24. She loudly accused me of not giving enough money and even *yelled* ( Yes Yelled !) at me in front of everyone. After she counted the cash and realized she was wrong, there was no apology. Instead, she simply placed the change on the counter even though I handed her the money directly to her hand—extremely disrespectful.

Additionally, we asked for chili oil for our pho and were given a very small scoop, which wasn’t enough for our party of four. When we requested more, the same cashier rudely told us we’d have to pay extra because we were “asking for too much.” It’s chili oil—how is a reasonable amount for four people “too much”?

The food was good, but the unprofessional behavior of the staff, especially the cashier, really diminished the overall experience. I recommend management focus on training their employees in proper customer service because this isn’t acceptable.

We usually drive all the way to Chinatown in Houston to get some good pho & banh mi so we decided to try this place just because its a few minutes away from home. Let me tell you Retro Cafe did not disappoint their food was delicious and reasonable priced. The staff were very friendly and nice which made our experience so much better. So happy we found our new go to place close to home.
