Heb twee truien laten aanpassen. Bij de eerste enkel lengte verkort en dit was degelijk uitgevoerd. De tweede trui was een maat groter dan normaal waardoor alles aangepast moest worden en het resultaat is teleurstellend: de hem is niet uitgelijnd met de trui, de manchetten hebben een gênante bult (zie eerste foto) en bij de hem is er een gelijkaardige bult aanwezig.

Alhoewel de prijs (30 euro) meeviel voor de gevraagde aanpassingen (lengte+breedte mouwen, lengte+breedte trui), is de tweede trui geruïneerd en niet meer te dragen. Ik was vooral verrast van de bult bij de manchetten. Ik had gedacht dat het verkorten van de mouwen een simpele taak ging zijn maar blijkbaar vraagt het toch oog voor detail en uitwerking. Twee karakteristieken die hier duidelijk afwezig zijn.

Al in al kan ik deze zaak enkel aanraden indien er minimale aanpassingen nodig zijn. Bij truien die een maat groter vallen, kan je best elders zoeken.

Destijds mijn trouwkostuum laten bijstellen in deze zaak en daar was ik enorm tevreden van. Nu kwam ik binnen met een last minute herstelling en die heeft hij er nog bijgenomen tegen een schappelijke prijs. Veel respect voor deze meneer want je ziet dat hij hard en zorgvuldig werkt.

Unfortunately, this has been one of the worst garment-related services I have ever received. I was asking for shortening of the sleeves on the blazer and tailoring of its waist. I requested for the waist to be tailored along the side seams, but the owner claimed that it would be much better with the back seam and ignored my request. When I returned to get the jacket back, the whole jacket was off - the back had a weird bump forming from the fabric, and the front was not draping properly. I pointed this out to the owner, and, after a bit of a resistance, he offered to bring the jacket back to its original state and give me the money for the alteration of the waist back (but not for the sleeves, which, at first look, seemed fine). I accepted the resolution and got the blazer back after half an hour. I dropped the blazer at the dry cleaners to get it washed and pressed after all of the alterations. Today, I got it back and realised that nothing is as it should be. The alterations to the sleeves have been done in a way that a part of the sleeve is pulling, ruining the drape of the fabric by creating an ugly channel, which happens on both sides and makes it uncomfortable too. The back has not been returned to the original state well and is not shaping properly. Overall, after spending money, I am at a worse place than I started. While the high score on Google suggests that this place might know how to handle simpler garments, I strongly advise against going there with any tailoring as two simplest operations that can be done in this case were seriously botched.

Super well done job! I’m super happy with the results. I asked to fix two pair of jeans that were so bad done by Levi’s store but this gentleman was able to fix them quite professional!!!

Take into account the owner only speaks Dutch and French yet he was nice trying to understand me.

Ik heb enkele broeken hier laten inkorten. Men werkt goed en aan een eerlijke prijs.

Beste plaats ooit! Ga er nu al een paar jaar naartoe en ga nooit meer ergens anders heen 🙂
