I have brought a small group to record a minus track for my MDT class 3 different times. Every single time has been a wonderful experience for my students! Ken has such a kind, friendly but professional personality that my students respect him and learn so much from him. We get fabulous recordings that are perfectly balanced. Best recording studio I've been to! Ken and Soularium Studios have my business and I will refer everyone to him.

Had a good experience here with a choir group I'm in. It was a little tricky getting started, but that's to be expected. I think the owner's name is Ken and he was very patient and helpful, our directors only had to conduct us and Ken took care of the rest. We are all super grateful for the time he's putting into making an official recording of our production. My only complaint is that having just one one-room bathroom was tricky for how many of us there were and the short breaks we had between recording.

I have never written a negative review before but I feel like this needs to be out there to protect other musicians. I have been recording/involved with this studio since 2000 when Dan owned the studio and it was awesome. A few years ago Dan sold it to Kenny.

I flew in to Utah to record in June 2018 to record some more pieces on the piano. Unfortunately this time the sound was more bright and thin. Nonetheless I finished recording everything and worked with Kenny of some of the edits. He had some more editing to finish up, but I had to leave Utah, so I paid him then left.

After several weeks and emails/calls/texts I finally received some of the recordings in .wav format but it had several songs missing, unedited songs that we had fixed in the studio, and partial-takes that were meant to be tossed out. I followed up with him again several times on the missing and unedited songs and this time I received mp3 files only and it again had songs missing and unedited tracks. I have continued to follow up with him on the missing files.

Overall, it's now been 4 months (October 2018), and after multiple phone calls, text messages, and 7 emails, I still haven't received the files for all of the songs I recorded. I am somewhat disappointed with the sound quality of the recording, but am the most disappointed in the flakiness of not receiving all of the recordings and of the length of time it takes to receive back communication.

I love this studio so much! I didn't know Kenny (the owner) before I came in. I had done a session as a ukulele player for a song, and just enjoyed the experience, so I went back there to record my band's EP. It was magical! Kenny is great to work with as a recorder and producer. He can pull back if needed and let you do you're thing, but I like that he always had contributions to make to the sound, and lots of ideas to try out. I'm pretty sure, if memory serves, we ended up adding a few things to the EP that were his ideas, and this is after I had demo'd the whole thing at my home studio, so I had everything all lined up. That's the good thing about having an extra pair of qualified ears, and Kenny is that, for sure. He also really knows his stuff, and is always updating the studio with better equipment, which is impressive given the equipment he already has. Also, I just like him. Cool guy, very easy to work with. I don't know how to end this review so... High fives for everyone!

I am very impressed by Ken. He has a talent for finding the best approach to every song. He is great to work with and he has all of the right tools to capture the sound you are looking for. I would recommend Soularium to you!

Beautiful studio! Wonderful place to track large ensembles and to record on a wonderful grand piano. A classy place to record and especially a wonderful place to record if you want video with the recordings.
