I'm a resident in the Terrace Heights Supportive Housing, I've lived here for 1 year. The community was somewhat welcoming, there have been recent negative media about our home. I pick up litter almost everyday, sweep the front and back entrances, do the gardening on our patio, which include plants & flowers. I love my home.

This place has ruined the neighborhood. Inviting drug users and criminals into the area, with zero regard to the residents of the community. When it's no longer safe to walk the streets at night or park your vehicle in your own driveway, that's when you know the system has failed. EPS should be ashamed that they continue to turn a blind eye to this.

This has been a terrible social experiment. Excessive amounts of crime and open air drug use is prevalent wherever one looks. I've never seen this in our community prior to this building showing up in our community. Sometimes, these residents are violent and unpredictable, displaying alarming behaviors. I am very concerned for my safety when visiting the shops in my neighborhood. I second guess my decision to go there and I either take someone with me or go somewhere else entirely. That's my Safeway and my Starbucks, my Winners etc. I shouldn't have to drive to sherwood park to feel safe. 0 stars if I could.

This supportive housing has become a nightmare in our community, attracting the impoverished drug addicts to take advantage of the free drugs and services provided here. Our community has been in an upheaval since this housing has been established resulting in increased crime rate and public safety with the undesirable population increasing.
And there is nothing we can do about it as it seems we are at the mercy of what this supportive housing entices to our neighborhood!!

Since this Supportive Housing was completed it has been nothing but problems in the surrounding area. Theft & Drug use in broad daylight. This building is built right next to a kids skatepark, extremely poor planning. I no longer shop in the area and have decided to move out of the neighborhood all together. I own my house with my wife and we have a 3 year old daughter. used to be proud to call this home, now we can't wait to get out of here!

Putting supportive housing right beside the kid's skate park was the worst choice. Open drug use, and drug deals are the norm. People passed out by the surrounding Capilano businesses. Last week a gentleman was overdosing while leaning against someone's car at the McDonalds parking lot. The two kids in the car were (I'm sure) only slightly traumatized. Crimes rates have shot up, and theft, violence, and B&Es are now a daily concern. Boyle St was caught providing services to non-residents which was against their agreement, and also a factor to the influx of homeless and criminals to the area. This housing is destroying our community, and putting our most vulnerable residents (our children and senior citizens) at risk.

This project is a detriment to all our communities. The major components of theft and open drug use in our multitude of neighborhoods are disgraceful, and the management should be held accountable for supplying non residents . They have made our neighborhoods feel unsafe and vulnerable. Shame on Boyle Street and Homeward Trust. This was not what was presented at the initial community meetings.

If I could give 0 stars I would. This place has destroyed one of Edmonton’s most beautiful, flourishing communities by attracting drug addicts and criminals. After living in this community for 43 years I had to move. The only reason I moved is because of the crime and drug addicted street people that infiltrated our neighbourhood.
