Update: DO NOT WORK FOR CPS. THESE PEOPLE ARE COWARDS AND FIRE YOU FOR NO REASON. I STILL BELIEVE I WAS FIRED ON RACIAL STANDARD grounds. I did nothing wrong but what I was informed to do by mentors and was terminated with no real explanation. I recorded the supervisor terminating me and she had no one reason why I was terminated. I know the first day she became my supervisor she was so rude and disrespectful to me. Be careful this company has so many turn overs because they fire you during probation period because it's easier for them. Also DM or RD will not contact you back on questioning the termination, so to appeal with two days is out the window and they terminate you on Fridays so your two days is up by the time you request an appeal. This place is a joke so are ALL THE FAKE PEOPLE.... This place does not have its crap together at all it's honestly a big mess there and Dallas location is horrible conditions and pay is horrible.

Straight up useless. I took a child in, without CPS being involved and came to the office to ask for needed assistance and was told "we only help with abuse and neglect"

I literally need to kick my child out of my home in order for the state to car. Backwards and useless, that's what this office is.

The people in this office are so incompetent.Myself and others called in numerous times on my daughter and the child's father because they were living on streets, and not in a good place for baby. These people did one home visit at a place they weren't even living and then determined that the living arrangements are okay. These people don't care about the wellbeing of the Chile and they do not call people that is recommended to speak to no matter were the report comes from.If your case lands in this office if the kids are in bad living conditions they will still leave them there but pull the kids who are in good homes out.

These people are the worst. Always too late where they should have been, and wasting there time chasing bogus reports that are obvious of people using them to make others life hell. My wife and I had to get back my step daughter from cps because her father ran off with her after a summer visitation with him. Four years later she was found to be in foster care in Florida cause that's where her father had abandoned her. It took a couple months for cps in Florida to finally find my wife, and that was to terminate her rights so they could adopt her out. After years of not knowing anything about where or how she was we was given an appointment to see her the next week. Went to Florida only to get to see her because we now had to jump through hoops to get her back. After a couple months of parenting classes and everything CPS wanted done, we got her back. Only to start hearing the horrible things that happened to her in foster care. After meeting with CPS here in Dallas so she could tell them about the sexual abuse she took in foster care that CPS put her in they let us know that she just needs to stop thinking about it, and move on she's home now focus on that and not the bad. She is ever so slightly special needs, has always been. She was 13 when we got her back, now she is 22. Still wakes from time to time in fear because she's had a bad dream about the man of that foster house, and the things he did. In public she's a nervous wreck always scanning faces and looking over shoulder, and if a man happens to be looking her way, she panics as to what he is thinking. She sees a Dr once a month and is on a cocktail of at least four different meds a day. Nothing ever happened to that foster that we know, because CPS was not going to do anything with the claims from her and us. That foster home was an asset to them, the man and women of that home took in only special needs children, as many as six at a time, that is rare to find that kind of help to the CPS system. So I want to let you know if you work for child protective services, you are worthless as a person, and if you had emotions you would know that, but all of you are already dead inside. I hope that your life and that after, is filled with the worst of things, so you could feel the torture that I have to watch in my stepdaughters eyes on a regulate basis

Remember to record everything. Never speak with them over the phone unless you have a app that will record both sides of the conversation, trust me they’re recording you which means they can delete anything that can be used as a rebuttal in court and always expect them to lie. Be warned, your child safety is the least of there concern. Don’t believe me, where’s the 5 stars form the children CPS helped. 87% of CPS closed cases has some sort of pedophilia attached to it. 93% of Pimps, Prostitutes, and Pedophiles have a CPS file attached to their childhood. Please don’t be weak or naïve parents, fight! Your children future is depending on you defeating this creature CPS “Childless Parent Syndicate”. Who’s sole mission is to feed our children to the streets and penitentiary.

If I could give this place zero Stars I would this place helped to destroy my life it took my only child off of accusations and the fact that I smoked marijuana. (So basically they took my son because I smoke weed which is legal almost everywhere but Texas go figure) where is the neglect they could find no neglect in my household nothing but love but they took my baby my only son only child from me. They lied to me about taking my rights they completely messed me over when it came to getting my son from me they basically stole him from me. I was only 19 years old and my son was two years old now he's 18 and I'm 36 I can get no help from these people to even help me reach out to the adopted family. I'm so hurt oh but God! #MartyJohnson side note I just found out that the younger the child is and the gender of the child you get more money. My child was two and a boy I heard you get more money for boys! Smh #tragic #hurt do yourself a favor because I was young and didn't know any difference if CPS ever come in your life young or old but pacifically if you're young do yourself a favor and get a lawyer! Or have an adult with you do not go through this alone!

I was a teenager staying in an abusive household because of younger siblings. We had one in-office visit because it was discovered that my 10 year old sister was hiding razor blades in her phone case, and we were left begging at school to get food and clothing. This cps office talked to our mother, the abuser, then talked to us, completely ignoring my testimony. They did one in - house visit where they didn't even come in, talked to our mother on the porch for a few minutes, and then left, never coming back. We got NO help from an emotionally and verbally abusive mother and alcoholic, violently destructive stepfather. As a kid that was in that situation: seek help elsewhere!

I'm am 25 just had my son and now CPS has him they're trying to adopt him out from underneath me which I think is wrong I'm trying everything I can to get him back but they're throwing curveballs at me I can't even capture I can't do anything because it starts piling up but I'm doing the best I can even as a single mom with everything I'm reading I really hope these kids get away from the system because they don't need to be in it and neither does my son
