I can’t say enough about the outstanding service I received from Velocity Services, particularly Mitchell Foor. After experiencing significant water damage due to a recent hurricane, I was overwhelmed and unsure where to start the restoration process. Thankfully, Velocity Services came through with professionalism and efficiency.

From the moment Mitchell and his team arrived, they were professional, courteous, and clearly knowledgeable in hurricane restoration. He quickly assessed the situation, explained the plan in detail, and took swift action. What really stood out was the attention to detail and the care put into making sure everything was done properly. Mitchell was always available to answer any questions and provided regular updates, which gave me much-needed peace of mind during a stressful time.

On September 28th, 2022, Park Place Estates in Port Charlotte, Florida was hit by Hurricane Ian (One of the MOST destructive hurricanes in the history of Florida) and our community sustained massive damages.

Luckily, we were able to hire Velocity Services Group as our general contractors and from day one of the relationship, things went from horrible to hopeful! They worked with us on every step, hired and managed the best sub-contractors around and completely updated and restored our entire complex (31 buildings consisting of 72 individual units and a clubhouse) to its current outstanding condition.

Velocity met face to face with us as we negotiated with our insurance company on compensation and became not only partners, but our friends.

We were fortunate to work with such a wonderfully experienced and dedicated group of people through the entire process and beyond! We were more than totally satisfied and impressed, and we would highly recommend them.

On September 28 our association was hit by IAN the strongest hurricane class 5 in Florida history. We feel very fortunate to have contracted with Velocity from the very beginning. We have four 6 unit two story buildings and one 2 unit two story building plus one pool house, we lost 35 large trees and damage to all units. Velocity’s Supervisor Todd Henley has been omnipresent from the very beginning. Velocity has handled all reconstruction, painting roofing, negotiating with insurance and every detail from start to finish, we feel very blessed to have contracted with Velocity.

We live in Estero, FL, specifically West Bay. Hurricane Ian hit Turtle Point really hard. Our condo was completed and we are living in a beautiful place now. Our beach condo was damaged in Hurricane Florence. Our condo is just 1 out of hundreds at this particular condominium. Velocity came in and fixed/repaired/renovated almost every single unit. Our condo at Dunescape had to be totally rebuilt after Hurricane Florence in 2018. We are so thankful that the original renovation company was replaced by Dunescape. With damage to almost 200 condos in our complex, it became apparent to our board of directors and management company that we would need the services of an experienced company that could handle the upfront costs (it took the insurance company more than 6 months to pay the claim) and supply the necessary manpower required.

Velocity covered all of the expenses associated with the rebuild- out-of-pocket until the insurance company paid out. We have friends who had restoration companies walk off the job because insurance was so slow to settle.
The communication was always excellent. Rick Hogan always made himself available to walk or discuss our rebuild, whether it be in-person or via email or phone conversations.
We are so appreciative of the professional work that they, and their contractors did for us.
